The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me2 }! p, Q0 D6 n+ v1 D- Q1 R( D
Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind7 S2 o$ P. n8 m. B8 `8 n3 j6 r
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
; w" p. n+ d. C, c2 }2 ?+ uSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia3 W/ S: G! V9 @3 L6 ?/ n

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
. |5 a% S" h$ {" [, vHowever, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.2 @& q* f+ V. f2 T8 l
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
) p& K0 y5 ~/ YBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable) I, O* O1 }$ L7 }4 h9 ^6 L
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living; d5 @, a) q9 Q
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
( J K2 t0 k3 `# \, e) fThridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,
# X" B9 D4 c" Z, }- \* CPeople are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.
# J0 f; ]' d- ^. N, G- f Y4 SMy ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue* G8 G/ h9 D: X4 g! d
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
