The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.
/ j' t4 f! f+ W2 `Just think about the thing around you and you thing you are most interested
* A2 n( r+ R/ x+ l/ JWhat government, world city are too unreal to me
# `: }* `+ E" w- s& k, `2 XEveryone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind, a! h$ m# P7 B2 X* S; ^
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese2 O1 @6 [6 u8 J/ S; G' @2 s
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low) Y; C \7 m3 K2 G; ]/ d' Y
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
$ S* L' U z/ QMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.3 O# t+ y. q) j- x
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
8 R7 A/ [1 S% j4 M5 {# ISecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living
Q4 W! {8 M# ?, o" O3 c+ u8 |So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel

People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. ; y- B4 Q, k9 _9 q1 I8 N# h6 P
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house2 w3 J; R* d$ [' y0 [

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
