The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind. ^* L& O6 `4 T1 u6 x [' K
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese2 k; Y5 g, f0 H( P# D; N" w
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia8 M; I: [) q4 ^$ J3 }, S3 R

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
# r2 X- O9 B$ ~' @" N6 \However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.. e+ l: t) x- ?. V/ d0 u
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.: k( V6 G0 n! N
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
' d- W4 v3 i0 W3 b& c/ zSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living! B" X. B2 f T' d3 y: O$ p) K( j
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel; v! }; K1 f$ J4 e* K4 x1 d5 B7 Z( j
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,4 G. M' d( v7 L
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.

But in my ideal Hong Kong, Hong Kong must be the most population4 U* J7 e- B2 r4 O2 r
