The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.
/ g' a) o- }+ d3 V7 ?( CJust think about the thing around you and you thing you are most interested

& t' @, B) C4 _9 {. rEveryone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind

So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low2 M# j" `, d1 ]+ W
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
1 E8 A' s( `1 RMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.5 c( P2 p7 D% V N
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable1 V2 C) ?; Z; b( M1 M
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living
/ T& e7 @" e$ t2 t* @& F# U2 {So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
/ Q; C' R$ ?2 w+ [, [Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
