The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me+ T5 {5 u+ c. x8 J- j- P
Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
K& J) V! W" [) K# f5 \3 fI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
/ O$ b' T" e; |; [) C: XSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

* J" b0 V; Q. o/ P( qFirst of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
( g, [ ~# W; n& z1 j6 h0 jHowever, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
& K8 s& C6 V' c. R& X E% q4 b* GMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
1 q9 k& C) c$ w$ eBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable6 m* z9 r1 s* v& e% O( W" r8 P
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living# @& J) `; ?0 p% R0 C* Q: M \ F
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
1 j( K: g- Z+ c+ kThridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,- O# l: \& `$ H! u8 G
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.
) `# Z/ [( y4 b" |) HMy ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

) i B/ Q/ O# Q! \7 ?All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
