The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me% N+ [) R5 F0 m ^( z/ z
Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind$ k- Q" t- Q7 _
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese/ _, k' f2 _0 o5 i Z
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
, O1 O7 ~) o s5 E0 @However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.' ?: b" r9 Y! h7 H" k% r
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
0 ~% P' n8 Q/ {) B8 D7 F1 NBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
" Z8 a6 K4 f! mSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living! B# t* h: l( ]3 K; e1 m2 g
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
, m2 N6 ~- }& z2 ^* }Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,: ?7 }- M; C9 M. v) c
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. $ g* a/ }& A' _# Y" [( M! b V
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue+ \+ n% ^9 O% ?1 H' R, [
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
