The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
# k$ K1 J1 q- R$ k- cI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
$ U% g8 R3 `3 MSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia9 ?' V1 ^) y( q; q! x+ c

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low) s" H4 h6 ]: ]( e4 F! e2 |
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
8 ` ?3 N1 E, e: ~- RMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.# P/ r3 f/ p6 ], w) R0 u3 m
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable# I @; w: M! |2 k( N8 ?& L6 N3 q
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living z% [2 D* S+ W% R y+ e
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
: o7 T) {- a! L8 D7 VThridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,4 u* m; \$ u w% R' X: A+ C
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. % L% X) M7 J- W
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house5 N6 U: U, E4 Y7 r

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue8 W% [* T) g4 d! b- |
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.6 A: N$ c3 v' j

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
