The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind& v$ O$ E! L4 Y* N3 B, N
I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese C$ O0 {" \) ^4 h% V
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia
. Y' U+ u3 E; n+ l( G1 Q# Y" Z' J5 j( E* L
First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low0 v) R9 _" F7 i7 h
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
6 u: I, `6 [3 R, |3 k3 F5 sMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
1 S" d6 W3 I& G1 n) t" [' oBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
4 c& X) \; N# i f Z" fSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living
2 Y5 m# S) ]+ y3 E( hSo, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
" L2 U* _/ @) k0 B, mThridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

Lastly, I don't wanna see too many Chinese in Hong Kong

But in my ideal Hong Kong, Hong Kong must be the most population& y& Z4 p9 n0 U+ F; V7 e
