The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
: [" X. @6 V$ c( U oI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
8 j7 f( Z+ C, [1 k, {So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia& j2 d+ O- U- I9 l* A/ D! _6 M
+ _, N5 {9 M$ x4 |/ dFirst of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low$ C$ q' }% G3 g
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
, D4 ^8 t" h6 ^, ]" D; T1 ^/ ~My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
5 ^% h! A9 J2 l. U# O9 m1 FBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable1 e( [* D f6 Z7 D8 V
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living

Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,, x9 |2 y# ~) |% H+ F* h
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue

I see all Chinese as foreigner. I know Hong Kong is a Chinese city
