scoring that many points is amazing, but that also shows the team's overly relying on him. He scored 2/3 of the total pts. Ok, when he's hot (shooting over 50%) and was able to lead the team to a win. But on a poor day when he shoots around 25-35%, he's not able to carry the team for a win. That's the effectiveness that he lacks when u compare him to either jordan/bird/johnson and etc. To make it short, on a poor day, he's not effective to make his teammates to contribute to a win. And u say he's better than mj? Gotta think twice.
and whoever says it's hard to score this many pts nowadays, it's way harder to score this many pts back in the 80's or 90's cuz the nba was all about hard ball at the time. Nowadays they are playing softer now. Remember the detroit bad boys era, they were playing real rough to take u out of your game. Does anybody in nba still do that now? Can't imagine if guys like vince carter playing in that era and how many games he would last ... |
