for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......% p. k# t7 _2 q7 C- K5 y2 ?3 A
/ K% @( z$ g6 V  R4 `
for the extended interview:
: K, c. \& {; ]( a/ {  Z, t* s3 y! V/ d+ Q$ D' M" ~
it's divided into 2 sections,
7 G# M8 m& D: F$ ^1 is impromptu talk6 x, K, t5 _, \# }' |
another is group discusion+ ?& M/ N0 T0 K, I8 x" E

+ ]  s/ n$ t6 r8 t& E' Y- a# Mall conducted in english

7 J0 o, e; u2 Q# S7 S) Vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

* q! x/ P2 T# z# E$ s6 Vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 p8 }/ C; n" W1 F5 n( e; U

% }1 E0 N6 h" h( S1 T3 S( R& [9 nthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!9 l7 [" O2 O0 u$ E
