for the preliminary interview:! i+ \5 q# F; o/ g
1 t' j6 z0 `- R8 ~9 j8 I6 v2 h
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:2 X* z) n4 m5 S& o* k* U( m
( @9 p# T9 F  M- g
it's divided into 2 sections,
" ]: [' Y, N4 C( r8 f4 d1 is impromptu talk( K2 p; o  `' j3 o1 h
another is group discusion8 V# `$ R: A" e: T5 D. f7 D. H
7 |0 B4 m% a# n3 e- y; a6 p2 X4 r
all conducted in english6 R8 }. [8 d6 ?' N' w& {; ]8 T  c

5 ^8 E/ z. k( D, bimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

4 A- @# i5 h7 e9 K" p8 Egroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes$ x8 A: h0 l# w: d- l& S( z0 S; z6 O

7 [9 ^- e) q" |0 j' Dthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
