for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ a/ i1 h7 i5 }' W! K! J7 `+ m$ w

* D- ^$ Z9 L+ H- b- u3 n+ }0 J! @for the extended interview:, g5 \2 u* n; V" t/ A% ?* V
- H* }. x1 ?1 |5 T1 x0 f. f# ]4 i
it's divided into 2 sections,
* e2 w8 W+ ?) P; h! ^8 d5 c1 is impromptu talk- \" o) k( L4 U- n! R; ]6 H+ e
another is group discusion

6 x1 ]( M8 H4 b( C" timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' c( h. M+ y) ?7 [

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion, [' r3 f) b5 g$ p/ G

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
