for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! I* j7 O+ y- R- n; w. l
( A7 L" |7 U6 |3 j. q" gfor the extended interview:9 I. O3 {# o# Y/ n8 d6 L

it's divided into 2 sections,
8 f# \4 I/ h9 w1 o1 is impromptu talk2 Z3 a' }9 y5 @; @0 }5 z
another is group discusion3 ~8 f5 c' s* D- o( v
+ ]4 f4 T) H4 [8 Nall conducted in english

* C6 q+ C3 P8 B% R% N5 qimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare8 b0 h( I, f# {- S' X/ H

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
