for the preliminary interview:

, @# A: K/ l9 ~0 E* U1 Qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......7 A7 A5 S$ H$ G7 ?

, L& b" E! H# o1 O* W5 j
it's divided into 2 sections,
) l" O$ m  w  L1 is impromptu talk. w/ Q1 ~4 D" [8 P8 c& {1 U/ y
another is group discusion
& W6 X: R/ M: q% X
2 m+ O8 L: r$ K4 f6 l, H( vall conducted in english

5 ~! h0 {! b. _0 h4 Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 j/ f" P4 q: H: S; s, ~

3 B+ Q; P8 i( K& V. ~topic like "environment, biscuit...."

7 T6 O& n1 G3 E) A& ~  s" mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 ^  F5 b" w  A* X6 z! D

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; E! Q& \5 w5 T" S- I; `3 s* W0 i+ r
