for the preliminary interview:

J( U- T! t% s* othere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' R" W  b+ X9 ?1 Y2 w* ?/ u& R

) b9 K8 a9 W9 Nfor the extended interview:

% Y: k5 X2 |' U$ |1 Q5 d" D! n1 @9 rit's divided into 2 sections,
% }7 Y5 x4 L, d1 is impromptu talk
' O8 H, e* v( W4 q8 J" y: Ianother is group discusion
0 S; J2 m5 u) F! L; }! H; I) H2 a0 x6 B* P
all conducted in english$ _. H! E# r/ I; a; U3 D
# J$ y  d- Y& i" E- w' [0 O
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare/ _* _* q* f" }

- L/ ]* B, l! D3 @  y+ m
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion7 P9 K/ h, V2 Y2 A1 U; m! q& h% a; w

for final interview:& ?6 t! [/ y3 `  m" w$ Z
4 ?* V7 m0 `: M  m
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; D0 _. y7 R2 e2 `' g$ ]4 b
