for the preliminary interview:

/ P3 n3 ^: w1 [) V' D, e! {there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......$ j- k# x2 L3 H! E
' K5 a8 a6 q7 D$ _$ D+ j
for the extended interview:

; H8 X- B" M! e! k2 O" Bit's divided into 2 sections,6 ?. d$ s1 o6 f: H! T8 C/ i
1 is impromptu talk
; r9 L/ e- }9 z8 ?, T/ }another is group discusion
# e/ J/ [% P( v# y1 C/ i# U
; g/ i4 C5 l. a2 a# s, g- nall conducted in english- f8 S7 p0 _/ A: ?% S; n5 s

( y  r! K0 O: Q) w% ?impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- j. b. Z; D  D2 ^, P8 t5 s

topic like "environment, biscuit...."  L# k0 D1 r. c( U
& M8 N# O& _' `9 w$ R$ Q
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:; Z9 m8 c2 y- p+ B6 I. E

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
