for the preliminary interview:( l( ^; u: S  g& K
) b# H; u9 M. c: W7 E
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
% l; C  o+ m& w2 K4 A2 L' G3 s& _- a' o$ V
it's divided into 2 sections,. v( ?/ B5 S4 L: S1 M) D- x+ h
1 is impromptu talk
) i3 o! u; r# `0 Nanother is group discusion
9 k8 g, H3 j6 ~
- h: a. C4 [* g0 {2 |+ J: K: o# ]all conducted in english# G" X0 @% }+ F+ q9 x/ J; Z  W# H

7 O! `( i* F  s; T  \5 K; Timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."6 v3 _) a1 U( y. K% a, i
$ d) S9 M$ ]: v0 W6 s, V0 z
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ V5 ^, O+ P3 V
