for the preliminary interview:

. r3 V5 f* t) K: Nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
9 t, }- A2 E9 r3 V, L, f  l' J
# W+ l8 `& Y3 b' ?6 i( Eit's divided into 2 sections,7 v1 w& R  Z0 m# h
1 is impromptu talk9 Z$ a$ @1 H8 v1 ~
another is group discusion; E: L3 G- [2 e5 {6 J
1 d, O. f" w& e2 }$ s
all conducted in english
- S% x2 t* s+ C/ t  R: H
7 `4 ?3 P, c/ k; r- i4 ^- Kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

A2 p& E3 O2 ]4 H, Ygroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:6 H* k6 w3 x( c5 F

( R3 z/ p6 P9 Lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  h0 [7 b) T5 t# s  r7 S0 T( Q' ^( Y
