for the preliminary interview:# ^, ~- h4 G) x' d
# ?) ]0 O2 p3 W/ y' ^- k! D4 T+ kthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,7 i' q/ o; v; E5 G
1 is impromptu talk, v- ^# B* Q4 P K# H
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare% ~9 P6 i; w: S- X! Z

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion- q# N1 ^1 A! k+ F4 t

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!7 b7 ?7 ^: ^5 H3 i& s8 ^* C
