for the preliminary interview:5 S# X" E% N2 B7 _( J# h

* d8 S& P' ?( Q8 p+ nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......0 ], H. \$ a- L  Y& ~. b

for the extended interview:' e4 ~5 C+ k: W+ u* V/ ]! U6 S
/ h8 X3 |; O4 q/ s8 ?+ E* @
it's divided into 2 sections,) C4 l& K' H. @. H
1 is impromptu talk  i0 F5 L# z; w* M5 h  x. f8 M$ N
another is group discusion
7 K: I8 U! u; t) S: t/ r/ C! u( A$ r) o+ T/ @7 _- h3 S0 \8 [- v
all conducted in english7 p, F5 e4 @$ u' v; E

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& q0 R6 h' T& F; I( E0 e; r

D+ f2 J& `3 Q) N7 ~group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 ^. h0 f$ `$ p

9 m9 w5 ]2 D' U2 v' t* xthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
