for the preliminary interview:0 U& d8 w! u& v: t6 A) }

: l$ a) s! B3 T3 ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

! @- E( o5 M7 Y7 s" dit's divided into 2 sections,
" i9 z& G! ~& y( t6 ?5 R1 is impromptu talk
4 P7 m( O7 C, {2 [1 janother is group discusion
9 R. ~: T6 V2 C0 i' M/ A  l" x$ [, u4 p- I
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 \+ u6 q7 x% `! L2 s3 n

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 z2 Y7 y5 o$ S# W+ [: A
  h( q6 ^7 _) k. Z# o; u# S
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. a0 e# ?  n$ a3 a4 Z! W

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!# ~$ V$ p7 ~/ F2 ], i7 M
