for the preliminary interview:
- z) m, k' e" o$ j# `* n" _
" i8 F; q& F. _' ]' M  h. Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
& M; W6 y4 I5 Y3 T- F/ T! v& C6 r* K% n* e/ \2 R
for the extended interview:$ [. ]$ u$ m# ^+ k' u5 Q

) c: ~. X. ^4 {0 s  e# \0 V: h- ]it's divided into 2 sections,7 G3 z6 E$ e7 I/ U* C
1 is impromptu talk
& m2 J) g7 {; V6 Wanother is group discusion; g# V) d3 X* ~* }

' t6 m( \- B& X" @& u# }all conducted in english

- Z. t1 y9 L3 H% E- y. J9 Wimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ m& G$ F7 q# p# F

& y1 j2 i' A" `9 ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:1 L5 N& [1 l) X* _1 {

( u: ^7 g! _4 _: G' F4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
