for the preliminary interview:$ u; n. }( k5 }0 C" V

5 D5 R5 k- Q" qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

9 x  @7 L1 e; d+ e, ^4 t2 g. E0 y" S2 ?9 v$ E  w  e, g
it's divided into 2 sections,
0 u% o# Y! M2 D  d8 K1 is impromptu talk
3 y! ?. L1 F/ Oanother is group discusion" i) s) y. l( Y# l; W; p$ N% w

all conducted in english. p0 K; \2 U+ w3 C$ B, `9 d
/ }; L+ ?5 T, t( s! M
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."0 S- @3 i( C8 C, D; n+ N0 Z) t1 j

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

) W( V5 E! N* P  C0 vthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!7 o& w; q1 o7 z
