for the preliminary interview:) d# R2 t( f( D& `$ w; @7 P, V

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:6 ?, a) d' t G- o. J1 N) \4 i

it's divided into 2 sections,
' `4 l3 U9 ^+ X0 D$ d5 ~( D% ~1 is impromptu talk, d# O' T& O, A1 }+ i' M0 A- l, j
another is group discusion

all conducted in english1 W7 U( T& p- K$ _. {

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 ]5 T& m; X! P. c( p% K8 O
3 N9 {, T! C7 ?8 ]& ntopic like "environment, biscuit...."# l8 R5 s6 P# v k, B n" k ?# ?; P
0 M% W' N; r+ h" o+ n2 ~group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!) J) d ]# }4 W8 C
