for the preliminary interview:; s: h5 o) S  m" w/ @4 B& ^

8 y  ?# |& }6 mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:" W, {9 o5 ^( e; N% b1 t/ D

5 ^( S! {- `/ F$ i$ rit's divided into 2 sections,! |2 R) E3 z% O/ o2 d
1 is impromptu talk
& O! F3 i' _: [8 xanother is group discusion
! m% K5 c1 H: t' Z* t- j+ C; ?, B4 d6 o
all conducted in english7 `6 S" [0 }- W3 O3 Q- E3 X
( l! G! f! ^- [5 e8 _3 |. [
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# u9 {, i& ^, I7 a) s: a" u9 ^

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

3 v  t( G" i% e' ]4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes& ]5 O* @8 U3 m1 E& U. F

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
