for the preliminary interview:2 I6 c, v2 p' l" z. i

! z/ D* ?% c  ^* Ithere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......7 L+ S5 z9 H1 z/ i$ F, e1 x* C

) e1 }  W2 ]/ K. jfor the extended interview:' |. c; i. j4 F  p
* j+ C% ~& h  T4 `2 B) G8 ]
it's divided into 2 sections,
- w4 F5 D- ], }" d4 n2 N% S1 is impromptu talk
! @6 Y: w  j$ Banother is group discusion
. h7 S9 t9 T1 C: n! A8 g6 ~' o1 q! v4 w8 c9 Z
all conducted in english; S5 o8 s  K4 u, j1 H: b4 n# `  M

- U. w! X8 b/ |impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare, P) d7 {$ A% [* j; J* b/ l

topic like "environment, biscuit...."! y6 U! F7 O( c" `1 ~2 h

3 [7 _+ z- V* f; ygroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
