for the preliminary interview:  C$ c  S% ?1 F& O7 J

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,
4 z: V" c! ~" R3 b# I1 is impromptu talk1 K* K6 F% I% `
another is group discusion
4 [  a+ e# I+ @( N/ t/ h/ A0 w
9 g, ~2 c  f3 ?  P+ Z6 I1 j' h4 \all conducted in english7 q: u4 o, e' B6 g. A* g: j  I" Y

# e" b- g3 ?  f$ W* \impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

! @. p" N# L: S3 K- Fgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' \; }# S9 \$ i3 F
