there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,# n4 I; G& G6 N7 J j8 p& H

another is group discusion$ B# @- o& U4 x! z
* o6 Y0 m1 P) m" e3 c1 ~8 eall conducted in english5 W# i, X& ?9 I6 a+ n: {, v
7 A5 J1 @9 K3 x! W" Simpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# ? T# t9 u/ O; U+ `8 K: h) |" Y+ I

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
