for the preliminary interview:

& o4 k5 X/ G7 m$ S# kthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

7 L! e* X% q! ~it's divided into 2 sections,

1 u# u. v# r6 s; H- r5 eanother is group discusion4 e! X9 n8 q) K Z: o1 R% y/ F

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; W- }3 n9 t {" D# C
+ v) N% P( y" C: X

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

& ^% L- F# W( P# [& b+ I4 `& Fthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
