for the preliminary interview:( E0 S3 I& I4 r+ k- W8 \

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......  g) g) P6 I" i% i+ ?& Q

# H, X; E5 f5 }7 e1 y* \5 x4 P- j7 V- afor the extended interview:$ N* F1 C  ^9 s8 I6 W2 I; b6 N

5 N1 Z/ u+ c6 v& N. [8 O; a* @it's divided into 2 sections," D- M( j6 a9 |) Z
1 is impromptu talk$ w% C0 p5 }8 \/ s/ k% }
another is group discusion
5 w+ e0 T0 b2 ?" ~/ o2 R0 a% ?! j2 s& [. g$ d7 x/ _1 T0 C
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 }" _# x. B+ K2 K1 R

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

; ?2 O. h" D: ]+ {( A& z3 `group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ V0 g  f3 c! B: |3 {& E! j

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!. j! r0 D6 {8 p( `8 `
