for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......% i% i9 n* T: L: d

for the extended interview:
7 ^) y6 e3 t+ R# y/ M# M
* w* N) B/ X# W* [* q' Cit's divided into 2 sections,
5 g" N0 m- x5 D3 ~) T3 i1 is impromptu talk% q& G( w6 u* i# `
another is group discusion3 r  R9 H9 y$ T

7 S3 p0 W4 J9 D' t' Call conducted in english
/ \0 }7 I- x, V7 h0 b' z" a, |9 R9 Z; w" o5 k% Q
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare  [1 l! Y5 h4 w0 k

2 J9 ?! e' B, {) O9 I+ Kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:* }4 H  @" A  K( i3 ~

6 Y+ |# }/ }! ^9 S' d) gthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
