for the preliminary interview:

7 i$ W: V$ a2 T, q0 Q7 Othere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......% z5 l4 W- s" J2 Y% F' |

7 D# i% q! [7 }3 D* }for the extended interview:
8 x5 B+ l8 q4 ~/ F4 p  T5 D) e3 x8 @9 O% a' F* f
it's divided into 2 sections,' W) F  I) L; Z9 m( w6 a! Q
1 is impromptu talk" m9 n8 B. J; X8 F2 t
another is group discusion

$ Y6 @( p! V  Hall conducted in english
- _( f1 P* o( t& s9 S0 V+ I- C3 M
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

A5 p- t  zgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  z% U/ Y1 w. l
