for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,! ^5 R; u, F8 n. F( w$ z
1 is impromptu talk% _8 A0 N7 U: i" l6 t
another is group discusion

3 h8 R( C U& F4 Rimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."* A: K) k- ~+ s$ ` t

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion0 [& ~- l9 d, X3 k/ U/ [/ H2 G
