for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:# W4 l1 A1 T& W. W9 p. D- i

, z* G& o  Z6 {: B, g8 pit's divided into 2 sections,: Q6 u$ F/ m3 f  Y/ x7 z7 d
1 is impromptu talk! x1 _4 _! V6 m6 A3 s
another is group discusion' u! d3 a, u! ]: j1 x& X( L

3 b) V  }, J$ ^" z, kall conducted in english
+ _' v8 a# E5 c" _+ O1 ]+ W& \4 ?
7 R8 V3 G2 g. |+ w8 Ximpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
