for the preliminary interview:
+ C6 x; f% U4 f3 W  O0 {$ u1 ?4 P8 R& w1 D, h* M
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......' s0 w3 O% W/ H3 f2 W/ b0 m2 H

* R5 v4 ?0 Z% D$ E7 c( C' Jfor the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
( _7 i" c+ \- C1 is impromptu talk1 Q2 M: W- Y/ C
another is group discusion
; F# J6 x: v2 j8 J4 T' f/ m- }6 N
all conducted in english8 V4 G7 Z% B5 @% M" K
$ a# f& b$ B' ?& j
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
7 a7 G" U5 z& Q% p& u" {, ^/ D: a# E3 \1 q& c1 }& R
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
/ u5 B8 }, f8 p2 j2 P$ e+ Y- R7 S& s$ u5 m6 b. v9 B) _& S- M
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 G$ w- e/ u/ J' [) D. u9 s
) L( r' [$ u2 R8 b! ~9 j4 u% ]

for final interview:3 p/ r) S: q. w8 d9 O! e5 [& W$ U

1 a0 I- @1 B# v3 C  `' d# S4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 m5 W1 a: f0 N, Z9 G/ v: K
