for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......0 b$ r- V& _" ?5 c# W R; k8 O( a. B6 R

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,# n6 k% i2 Z; I; Y
1 is impromptu talk
; O. m" B. o) k) o4 }3 s* `; t6 Eanother is group discusion

8 Z6 m2 m$ K7 z9 v% [! ]all conducted in english7 R' t, P7 x+ x, o: a" n5 S2 ]
- x) M- n3 n+ j0 z: nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare# P8 M: b- b, ^2 V. c
+ b1 ?5 b9 M. m+ k& s) o/ W/ A" ^topic like "environment, biscuit....", @! `" a( m! s( w
; [$ I9 `" L5 x+ w# q
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
