for the preliminary interview:

' s8 h/ V2 i, ?5 I" M' n3 Othere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....... i7 _5 u7 v% f; c

& t7 G; m& S6 b3 n/ x0 C% W8 J0 bfor the extended interview:2 ~/ H+ x$ P3 n( O
& O6 O8 W  E  z$ P6 m
it's divided into 2 sections,5 R, H/ g; }- n4 w
1 is impromptu talk9 U1 |. Q# L& H
another is group discusion! [6 q$ b8 N0 v  z
( Y0 P* l  s; w7 ^  a' s, }
all conducted in english5 i. Y% x- s# B# A

" h2 x+ K/ H, }impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare  l& h: J( w1 l' e/ j6 ~5 {. I

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
