for the preliminary interview:- R- M: Q/ z! m) _2 N" A; P

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
- q: e; K+ D; K n# O3 B# o4 g0 F4 }3 u# j
it's divided into 2 sections,
! Q0 C8 K8 J6 A& \$ V. E1 is impromptu talk
* b9 k# T! `" G' m ^another is group discusion
8 k# o+ x$ W( K! c1 E; Y! G2 [. U- A. E( Q: s) o
all conducted in english
+ D$ `9 { d. w2 }# _8 a5 n- Y! P! Z0 m* q- P& k
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
