for the preliminary interview:6 Z1 q% O8 \) X+ `% ]' t
8 D7 b8 }7 }$ ?; J. s/ `4 G
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

4 a& |. ^6 ^) Y" U; jfor the extended interview:
3 k' D2 ^( d# Q6 E! L; {& j9 \4 K3 q6 _( k' U6 Y5 f- I
it's divided into 2 sections,1 O3 Y; n- F* H# o' N
1 is impromptu talk" {- N# H3 K$ w5 B1 \$ o. i8 U
another is group discusion

all conducted in english9 Z" _' v3 o& T
' c, z9 l( d2 E! A
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

" A* x% J5 C" Q  k8 i! W: Rtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

8 h! h' X, k$ v# i+ u( Mgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 @1 x- N3 R2 ?2 }/ N3 y9 Fthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
