for the preliminary interview:% Q, A, v7 H+ W& Y, l

' w5 U' o4 h8 D8 `there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 W. B  g7 S& F: z% d. Sfor the extended interview:) @* [7 C/ j2 d2 C- \# z
" W* y0 V) o; H$ m- x
it's divided into 2 sections,
* c' p! _' |2 R2 b# G0 [1 is impromptu talk. b" G, d2 U- c1 \: K6 q4 I1 `
another is group discusion( O' ?, k8 d: s& n! s! [: T' l: k' o
- j4 O! [1 N7 w/ T
all conducted in english

; M3 X" T+ v- L& `- bimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 _( R  u0 y: m6 |. g% f) B

topic like "environment, biscuit....": }, X2 U- B) H. m9 Q: A- r6 G5 T

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 G& ]( w" N, I9 i$ p

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!) ]9 L& c* |; Y. b9 e+ R
