for the preliminary interview:

+ {: G2 h" \, ^! s1 e) a4 ^9 zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

  o7 T  p) P! e! a2 m0 t4 Z/ |
it's divided into 2 sections,6 _: V; A. [) H( v3 n
1 is impromptu talk7 T# V5 n" b0 w
another is group discusion
( ]+ W, v* \# s4 A! Z2 ?' A  G( Z# P) m" M! J8 F* ~$ U
all conducted in english9 v) S) J2 i4 F& _9 P
) k( k* e2 _/ x. I
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- \7 A& K! x: \# p; O
! q' \  f  x( o& |  `3 o
topic like "environment, biscuit...."
, s$ d: W3 `9 w4 {4 p1 Y& N# L4 A5 s+ R3 J& P% B1 `  w/ I3 s
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. O: Y, d7 A6 j: H; u

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes2 d! u( a, ^. D) d

' w  q& ~6 f3 U. C( W0 wthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
