費sir對打吡戰充滿信心
Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Manchester United can extend their unbeaten home record against Manchester City.
The Red Devils have not lost to their city rivals at Old Trafford for 31 years, since Denis Law's infamous goal.
United entertain City on Saturday, with both sides taking unbeaten starts to the season into the game.
Ferguson expects Stuart Pearce's men to put up a good fight, with former United ace Andy Cole due to lead City's line.
The hosts boast a 100 percent record this season and Ferguson feels his team's form should warrant another three points at City's expense.
"It's a great record for us," Ferguson told Sky Sports News. "We have got to make sure we maintain that record.
"It's not going to be easy.
"Derby games are not supposed to be easy, they are meant to be tough.
"We're expecting a tough game on Saturday but I'm confident in the team's performance at the moment.
"We are playing very well, with great confidence and great team spirit.
"Results at the beginning of the season have mirrored that kind of start we wanted after last season, so we're ready."
