The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me

I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese( F4 `5 [% g8 ]  _  H, J' O
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

/ R; n+ b5 i. E" C" {First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
7 k6 t$ j" d# ]8 yHowever, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.6 ^0 K1 G: `6 o$ m; K4 Z5 U  M: P
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
7 E& ^3 Z: Q+ v* a" I$ ~+ DBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
/ s" w1 n+ u! I/ }8 ~- LSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living3 t+ n" D. `  {8 u" H5 ^0 O
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel& ^* ~) A1 n+ c
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,) q3 l( c( z2 `& C
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. 1 S) G* N1 m+ i/ J, D& t5 d/ Q" z
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house6 O# B! k2 }4 `, n4 ^
% O, O3 B1 M5 Q/ k8 N6 R
All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue$ _* J0 T( V* T
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.4 ?) Z$ G* Y8 _

Lastly, I don't wanna see too many Chinese in Hong Kong
