The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

1 ]' J: b: u& J" Q2 gEveryone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
# ^# @! d9 b) {% ?7 N% aI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese: x  f+ ^. S' j* m1 d
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia4 j! |  W: h) \  U/ P7 N: U# I; D" j

( h9 x4 z0 b: F& w7 \# FFirst of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low7 A: O. n$ K5 b+ w
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.5 A( d2 R; l/ y
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
& U) ~( U9 f, U+ h3 A$ [But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
/ u! Z5 x8 j- A# ~. gSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living  R4 b4 ]+ }5 R8 v$ L7 w
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel* b) r9 I. U9 v6 ^" x0 b
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,
: v3 X7 @7 B! S6 ?8 f' U: ~People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.
) W6 Z) Y! w( S2 pMy ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house( c9 C4 Y9 l7 T

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue
