I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese
: M( _0 n7 D1 c( z. dSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low! r- C9 S8 B1 y+ e0 e: y) S( {
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
  B. Z) ~6 @. B2 @9 d, WMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.# y3 d( A! ~3 g$ Q% O; a: O" T
But that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
& P- U0 K6 q. u: T' H( L/ Z1 ISecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living; K& n) w7 ~  T  y7 l, i, I
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel
8 h; _! @) M5 S2 }+ Y# RThridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,8 C; z- _4 f' y  y
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. 0 X1 U% ~$ N; x
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house) M# n% {& H2 ~' ]" P

1 t- W6 Q$ g4 C$ X' N  BAll other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue0 R* m9 X$ |( ^7 F4 ?9 M
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.5 L$ c$ F6 r( `8 u  w' V8 S& i% M3 [- N

Lastly, I don't wanna see too many Chinese in Hong Kong
