I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc. Y3 Z" b1 L! q* ]' J2 r' P4 r
1 f+ I5 @5 h9 T: M. i1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

' o+ \: }7 i }& W5 ^/ K4 W4 wWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.# O! O# Y" g+ j1 ?0 @2 ^
$ U# S( w& Y; ]9 {) CThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
