I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
) j- s* Y& n2 c8 {/ c8 Z% r+ q: G: l3 Y+ E" I7 y) ?# _, X
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up./ H+ l. H+ z0 I, B7 _. Q1 Q. k" }; q
8 l9 v# [% E, b9 j. O& FThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
