How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.3 _' \! O" p2 p6 Z
2 d+ j3 \& J; b* L9 L5 \1 N1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.; R( ^9 ^, O8 C& n2 V I

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.8 v- ~# @* C+ `- ~& r8 {( ]

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
