I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.. A) K# w- A" K7 u
# n: L8 S+ w2 n8 Z8 @5 y1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.# {2 u+ ?! a" N8 q* y/ D0 \0 |6 U! [
% ^# Z' \, x7 N$ LWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.+ C V \* z; V0 g) V
2 R1 y7 p9 _" A0 W& K5 Y) t, xThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
