How about at the hospital?( v4 P* C c0 H! n+ _$ r
$ }( j6 o: T" ] t# dI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.: U; j. r0 f$ j, b8 ~1 K( c
- s8 V( y6 ]) Z1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.- }: t$ j) Y1 M$ o; O
$ Y' ^8 y# `0 P2 HWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.8 J) o, u3 g9 r0 X) A$ D% G
& K4 L) G1 ?* AThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
