How about at the hospital?

& p# s# j( l2 p) U' H+ s5 S3 a! MI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# k5 n* D& r% W% l2 M( I* H
& M4 k& j( G9 r/ k/ b% I* _9 f* ~
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.0 Z7 k* r8 X$ M) g3 C
6 n; }) K4 j- S2 q3 x, ?- QWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
