Free agent point guard Sarunas Jasikevicius, considered Europe's most NBA-ready player, has agreed to a three-year contract with the Indiana Pacers, his agent said Monday.

Jasikevicius should help the Pacers offset the loss of Reggie Miller, who retired after last season. Indiana, knocked out of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals in six games by Detroit, also will get Ron Artest back from suspension next season and will be among the favorites to win it all.

Jasikevicius was passed over by NBA general managers the past few years, failing to get a significant contract offer. But the former Maryland guard re-opened some eyes after scoring 28 points and making three 3-pointers down the stretch as Lithuania upset the United States last summer in Athens.

he is a really good PG, well at least from what i seen in Athens game, and this is a really good pickup that Pacers need, and with Ron Artest back in the game, Pacers really have change to take the east title

呢個立陶宛後衛真係有對呀！雖然Tinsley 上年打得幾好，不過成日有傷，始終佢既打法真係好易傷，近兩年平均都係打得40-50場。真係要搵返個替補返黎。

呢幾日有消息話 pistons 用 Darko Milicic 換 hawks 的 Al Harrington。交易傳聞多是得個”傳”字，但是我覺得這個傳聞成真的機會仍是很大呢～原因有幾個。第一，pistons 不愛用 Darko Milicic，在 Larry Brown 執教下，不會給新人機會上場；第二，hawks 的 swingman 有太多了，現在 hawks 的 swingman 太多，有 Josh Smith, Childress, Diaw-Rifford, Donta Smith，什至剛抽回來的 Marvin Williams 都可能以 SF 上陣；第三，hawks 正不斷加強內線實力，因為 hawks 禁區沒有人材可選，所以他們一直追尋一個有返咁上下料既 PF/C；第四，hawks 這類重建球隊，應會積極招攬”後生仔”入隊吧～

Darko Milicic 是 03 年第二順位怶 pistons 抽中。當年他在行內被寄予厚望，什至被譽為 Divac 的接班人呢～ Divac 在 Serb. and Mont 的崇高地位是相當有名的，可見 Darko Milicic 是個幾咁有潛質既球員！！！可惜 pistons 在 Larry Brown 執教下，以球員即戰力行先，而且很少給後備球員上陣，所以 Darko Milicic 來到 NBA 後一直沒有發揮的機會。到幾個月前，什至傳出 Darko Milicic 不想再為 pistons 效力呢～

我很想交易成真呢！可以睇下 Darko Milicic 係咪真係咁有料。

路透紐約電---據紐約報紙周三報導，拉里布朗(拉利布朗，Larry Brown)已原則接受執教紐約尼克隊的邀請。

「他已決定要執教尼克，」布朗的經紀人格拉斯(Joe Glass)對《紐約時報》說。「現在該尼克和我出手，做出能被雙方接受的安排了。」

新既Divac接班人已經出現，就係今屆新人狀元。不過米列錫呢個過氣既接班人，如果有料就真係唔好浪費左佢。係活塞既內線球員有wallacex2仲有個當紅McDyess做最佳後備 。睇下Campbel賣唔賣啦，賣既話l 米列錫都有機會既！

　　香港時間8月1日下午2點30分，“中國佐敦圓夢NBA”儀式在朝陽公園進行，小牛前總裁和主教練老幼嶊v葩辿V江蘇南鋼同曦隊主教練胡衛東贈送了小牛隊的球衣。籃管中心主任李元偉、前中國男籃主教練哈里斯、中國男籃中鋒唐正東出席了儀式。在7年的等待後，胡衛東終於圓了自己的NBA之夢。

　　在贈送儀式上，老幼嶊v葩丳N一件小牛隊的8號球衣，贈送給了胡衛東，在球衣號碼的上面，赫然是“HU”(胡衛東的姓的英文)。時隔七年後，終於實現了自己的NBA夢想，胡衛東的話語中有一些不平靜，“非常激動，感謝中國籃協，感謝達拉斯小牛隊，給我們這麼高的榮譽，感謝大家，我也會在日後自己的教練生涯中繼續努力的。”胡衛東穿上球衣，隨後和唐正東一起教兩位江蘇來的球迷打球。

　　籃管中心主任李元偉說，“今天對於胡衛東是一個非常重要的日子，因為他在CBA賽場上馳騁了10多年，和小牛隊也有這麼一段姻緣，今天終於如愿了。今天也是中國籃球和達拉斯小牛隊合作的一個見證，在中國籃球發展的歷史中，小牛隊給了我們很多幫助。”

　　1998年，小牛通過對胡衛東的長期觀察，決定提供給胡衛東正式的NBA十天合同，但是胡衛東未能成行，2000年3月17日，魔術隊傳真，希望胡衛東簽一個10天合同，因為傷病，老胡再次錯過機會。

Former Blazers guard Damon Stoudamire is headed to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Houston Chronicle reported on its Web site on Saturday. The Portland native is said to have agreed to a four-year-deal.

The Miami Herald, quoting unnamed league sources, reported Monday that the Heat may trade Jones to the Memphis Grizzlies for point guard Jason Williams and small forward James Posey.

if heat really get jason williams from Grizzlies ( which i think the chance is pretty high if they agree to sign Damon Stoudamire ), Damon Jones might end up going to Cleverland
