i used to study at seneca@york, i move on to Ryerson now....

if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster....

usually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....0 Z; j; `; x# o# n3 C; F: y3 d
York Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....+ I& f4 U! ?0 j+ i8 x
. O$ f  E& w. G# a7 x# R
try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....2 i: ?# X2 ~9 c) }" _
I use the same way as you to get to York too
