if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster....

usually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....
! _- e5 n* }5 H& A( h, DYork Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....

; l" \* w: |) ]" A8 B, ~try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....7 c0 t+ A: ~/ A1 K3 q
I use the same way as you to get to York too
