:.... note:  it takes 2 hours of driving from my house to york...

i used to study at seneca@york, i move on to Ryerson now....

if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster.... 8 H; B. [, a/ U& r0 r

usually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....
7 F; \) }6 t; Z  P7 T# q: P2 GYork Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....6 N" r1 c: p" W% w& a
/ i9 U2 N! d6 h' e( r; F
try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....3 N+ U4 a' S% v, J9 ~& P

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....7 [: S  K5 H1 P! v) `& m0 C4 e
I use the same way as you to get to York too
