i take the bus... 53.... and change to 60.... and arrive to york...

around 2 hours drive ~><~....

if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster....
! F6 n: {* t) _+ H+ i6 r. u
& _; S' [; P3 F, i, Husually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University..../ i4 M% K1 o& R8 s) p; k' Y' d
York Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University...../ K* E' u8 ]/ i7 y# g  r" i/ J7 y
7 z5 t8 w% I& w* r+ f
try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....0 E1 F6 i0 ]1 s% i% _

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....- I" h8 [/ R5 P* K7 s. u$ f) V+ y
I use the same way as you to get to York too
