first of all, ask you few questions:
1) is that you installed some new hardware, then this problem occurs?
2) is that your PC suddenly have this problem but you had not change anything on your hardware?
3) is that you installed some software that make a virtual drive in your windows?
for 1) = yes, you just unplug the new hardware and uninstall its driver, then can help.
for 2) = yes, you may need to reinstall windows, see see the problem still happen or not.
for 3) = yes, you just uninstall the software, maybe can help.
1) ,2) & 3) 's problem are software related.
if problem still happen after re-install windows, then your hardware seems have some problem...
===> maybe ram or display =.=". (good luck!)
