256 and 512 no big difference, to 1GRam will be better(but only few FPS)
CPU can do more calculation in 1 sec, then the job will be faster.
For DVD or Mpeg encoding
But if you plan to do it many times with effects and subtitles, Video editing and processing card is better.
or if you already got a DVD/HDD recorder at home,
then use the AV output(of your Graphic card) and make the recording if thats what you want, less error and no windows problem
For MP4 and Real player files
only software encoder available then return to Ram and CPU issue la, Faster CPU is bigger issue in MP4 and Real files.
