for the preliminary interview: . N9 o: M7 T( S4 m* V W5 l _& o/ z: Q) [/ \% {) I) N- }
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... 0 ^( U9 ~# d( O0 Y9 b$ m1 {- R% t) n; z6 ~7 }
for the extended interview: 4 b/ m$ K1 ]4 ^) u - }1 @/ R7 v6 Zit's divided into 2 sections, - a- l6 N, l. v$ ~, k5 \& v1 is impromptu talk 4 c# B+ B; b: I& ^/ X) [another is group discusion4 w+ v' q% p8 z9 v

all conducted in english/ v8 n4 c7 h8 V* ~$ Z
U, w @" A8 Y1 C+ f3 d6 |' U) @0 wimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare * d( `4 @& N" L+ z. l, { 7 c' g. L" D; d1 Q0 h u3 g s# _topic like "environment, biscuit...." 3 T0 ~- S/ M* H, c3 D1 Y) X3 S+ X' K' \2 F, T" K+ p8 Z$ y; q
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion 0 I6 P- V.
