for the preliminary interview: 4 d3 C& Q" [2 f" z8 J. i : j+ Z4 D- g# ^' t; b: T9 E) Zthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... 6 ?) X8 }% D' ]: E s l, w! p! l
for the extended interview: 5 B7 d$ _; E: ]' x. f0 d1 N- G, R9 T# b B: G
it's divided into 2 sections, 0 h m6 V; ^' ~. w! H. D1 is impromptu talk2 J6 `- e: r# N/ k' J* Y
another is group discusion+ H) `3 R5 j$ K
+ b& v, R5 h' ] D! m: ^2 K
all conducted in english! Z& {( t9 x% ]

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare - d" ^+ s8 j" K: v8 j, k2 G1 U" w$ ]- w; u% D7 i
topic like "environment, biscuit...."3 }4 u5 R1 U( i: O
! p' R' t. Q0 u, S" G, ]4 \: I
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion6 K+ z0 v% S% ?$ z6 n

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!0 Z6 J; S+ N5 k0 J; X" f
