for the preliminary interview: 4 b3 M' e5 H5 h 7 f y; {* Z$ Nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......) t% i# Q0 m4 j; Q, c / J: q- Q- l: [* E8 `: O# b/ `, zfor the extended interview:6 l# p) }# C; {4 I
5 P+ v4 Y$ a" s% oit's divided into 2 sections, 0 d I# D8 Q& M1 is impromptu talk 8 n0 q+ f/ v& w8 U( [6 F4 x* sanother is group discusion- u+ x) D% @4 H: w' G6 K* ^

all conducted in english1 I% Y/ J! [; b' k0 \4 c* r

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare+ L0 B$ b4 `, ^0 w' P) p, Q
( b" P# b/ k5 T6 S9 ]topic like "environment, biscuit...." 4 ^' j/ S, p! {/ d+ w* [( Q / Y3 y4 L0 {1 J) I5 U; F2 sgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion9 u& }4 {7 P8 Z5 N8 b7 s. f! Y2 b8 d
