for the preliminary interview: ) U$ H2 b( @9 w4 b) b3 q2 y5 h/ q2 c& ?9 q1 r Z2 e& |
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... 3 ^' Z9 p5 L. U+ @/ H % }+ J5 ~7 X. v8 Hfor the extended interview:3 Z+ f# a! e$ q3 b. d

it's divided into 2 sections,0 F! r# m% ^- | C+ q' c/ `
1 is impromptu talk 4 J+ G t* J# t/ t! t" u: Ianother is group discusion, R" X9 L. G+ m5 \' F
- e- T: a3 ]! L c
all conducted in english 5 Q m L9 n' h7 z# [2 W$ q W7 ?" h + X' m- G6 j6 w- nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare- Y r+ ]7 O; l" J0 h; l

T8 H2 s9 e& t3 x* o1 Ytopic like "environment, biscuit...." 9 `& j# Z0 v+ I 1 ?$ w* @2 h% ~. s8 bgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 v5 c8 h' e1 u+ ?) V0 G h

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes ( f: C6 @# Q3 {' [ C, F" R3 [0 Othe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier! 7 X/ s; B' i4 t* o' c# h8 ]: C5 z" `" I$ c8 M" b7 m9 V+ Z
