for the preliminary interview: $ `, G% g) Y2 T h" } 7 C8 x3 @% [ v( [there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......# F8 F# T/ |/ M; Y) |, n( d . ~8 I& u) H0 p. ^; Lfor the extended interview: 9 l2 ~, ?" j0 H+ w& t/ p; }3 ^ p k5 `
it's divided into 2 sections, : I! U9 |2 m* L. \! @1 is impromptu talk! _) v0 B4 G% u! }* x, W
another is group discusion % a* |: S. E5 W* l $ |- t2 _) U+ Z6 vall conducted in english 4 S/ g4 t4 N5 p; L& P2 Y8 | F9 d1 `# [8 \' o% ?* `# z1 x* F: L7 K
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare 1 a S7 x# ]6 m: `5 E; y/ b) b/ l
topic like "environment, biscuit...."( m+ D+ r: {4 T1 ` X5 R
- a/ i9 {7 Q. pgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion) a% ~8 P1 F! b7 P- }& P
