for the preliminary interview: t2 ~* U! J! x2 f$ | ) }2 p! w0 P' w6 s8 Ythere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... B0 g) B/ n$ w3 ^ $ I) n* l6 I: n& g- H( {for the extended interview: ) k. e8 D! _; g, e $ S5 V6 C N" Qit's divided into 2 sections,) k) F/ G6 U V* n0 Z
1 is impromptu talk : E" W( |0 Q9 i0 l+ nanother is group discusion1 [3 C0 C1 d9 C j* f7 n" D
+ T; y" u' n+ e* p* h6 p9 zall conducted in english8 G/ Y3 p' m$ G% k/ u& h. g6 f8 v9 n% ]

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare p; X& U" R+ m4 x# l( c+ i3 l$ a7 m- @; H$ Q9 a' k( i' w
topic like "environment, biscuit...." 4 w% ~2 m, N- M8 v8 ~/ ?; ^ , A, x- |) A7 O1 b1 Igroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' p0 u9 `6 r1 f$ @; e% i9 S
