for the preliminary interview:; P$ S# o7 k/ \- [+ J

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......4 {- m. c3 p$ `+ B: H$ J " r8 N* \8 ~# q5 _+ J. x! E
for the extended interview: - x: p+ a9 d. z6 ^ ; ~1 @6 Z( b$ B8 `# ^it's divided into 2 sections,1 _1 j% Q% m9 | R- a
1 is impromptu talk 8 ^( \5 Y2 [ F1 d; wanother is group discusion 8 @2 [7 o1 D( x8 V7 G - o- q- `: i0 _, b* c- d7 Iall conducted in english. v9 Y* Z% N% s
# V1 F6 n: s' i# { u% Pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare ; L9 ^- v1 k2 {9 s, W( u1 S% N! S; y( M; _4 w- r' {3 T$ N3 a
topic like "environment, biscuit...." 4 g5 Q* B! I& W" s5 M- ` L3 g) v( G& [$ q o2 }
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion ( K( Y) }) D0 r5 J( |2 @5 j ( r/ [4 r8 s* j6 ~ A( Z: v+ h2 Q0 |6 Q9 E
for final interview: " U2 I0 @ b4 P4 u 8 J3 u% [) j, E$ ^- N4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes. s5 _2 q& V2 G+ m; w% i, n I! H1 u; A
