for the preliminary interview:4 b0 [" n1 `( a" q% G5 J
; y9 D, P2 p( h: c- mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc...... $ c* w* l$ {1 }6 ] 6 i9 k/ C. C. d8 ^! ffor the extended interview:# b2 G- }! ]+ O) l& r; w5 x, X, b
7 ?/ z5 J0 u6 ^
it's divided into 2 sections, k( a' F, G. C/ Z! [1 is impromptu talk 1 q9 r6 e' `& r/ h$ V3 Ranother is group discusion 6 L+ H# Z6 o- o' z( W; {9 @& v- m& l# m$ T4 J) H( e0 N/ _% I
all conducted in english# G. m: o6 T3 z8 j! q

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; k9 s9 V1 T. C8 f3 @& ~; V

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion 9 X: X5 F2 H4 @ 4 i- z' @/ X0 E$ b/ {6 U6 r1 d* i9 J3 N, @
for final interview:* c4 t9 z1 v* o

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes. @7 G; j; Y% O! f2 r0 M1 `& N) E

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!- @% U1 x- N3 V& E# h0 W K
