for the preliminary interview:5 J4 D# ^! n- v" E, N8 {* ~! |7 U
3 \' E" F4 x% Gthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! M( R* o9 M% n8 N5 I, T; G + u+ X! ^! W% o: H" ~- K
for the extended interview:" u. `: x) B w) w/ X# E: I% o+ ?
2 T* ?& P0 B8 e! C& }" t M- p6 f
it's divided into 2 sections," e* g# o' F4 b6 w
1 is impromptu talk 1 G/ i3 N2 y% ranother is group discusion 2 f7 p' R1 T5 v3 k1 D ) p( v% x1 X% z$ `2 Y) Q$ @all conducted in english& O" _* d# ~( p+ y- q7 R' y
/ C( Q8 L4 f/ v. m- \* t5 dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare , @% J0 ^" d) i: `3 f1 A 9 b1 [, W1 j0 @! s# u4 q" I4 Btopic like "environment, biscuit...."3 l1 a9 k% Q- V- y' S4 z

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; b) Y* C; j6 Q; g# `( x1 z

for final interview: 8 x& Y# m+ c, w M+ _+ v' B% A; Q$ S# ]) Q0 R6 `- U
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes $ W8 C3 d! `* i* M8 P$ l2 R; j7 u6 x( a1 k8 v. ?' a$ h
