Barcelona forward Giovani Dos Santos has signed for Tottenham, the Spanish club have announced.

The 19-year-old Mexico international, who joined Barca in 2002, has signed a five-year contract for a ￡4.7million fee, rising to ￡8.6million depending on appearances.

Barcelona have retained 20% of any sell-on fee should he move in the first two years of his contract and will take 10% of any transfer if he moves after that.

A statement on Barcelona's website, fcbarcelona.com, read: 'FC Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur have come to an agreement for the transfer of Giovani Dos Santos to the English club.

'The Mexican will sign for the club managed by Juande Ramos until June 30 2013 for a fee of six million euros (￡4.7million) plus another five million (￡3.9million) depending on the player's appearances for the London club during his five-year contract.

'FC Barcelona also maintain 20% of the financial rights to any possible transfer of the player during his first two years of contract and 10% on any transfer from his new club.'

As i know, 杜斯.山度士 is one of the talent player among the younger, this price is really worth on a long term investment

佢係幾有potential,個問題係後生細仔係巴塞班天皇巨星裏面有機會做第三或者第四後備,佢都唔滿意,又要出場又要加人工,唔得謙厚...係我眼中,其實佢可能有能力成為另一個messi,但係messi既學習態度始乎值得學習d...~~去到英超會點?希望佢生生性性啦~~

講得o岩, 美斯咁乖乖地又後生又有potential. 等呢一代d 人走咁d, 巴塞分分鐘買人都係圍住佢發展用佢做重心.
就算山度士去到熱刺咪又係有班老大哥係度, 始終咪又係要等, 唔通又跳糟呀....
話時話, 貝碧托夫係咪真係會走? 有冇咩球會針緊佢??

should be a good signing for future. given the hype about his potential though, not too sure if he can adjust to the premiership. but spurs is having a big squad now

我唔多睇好佢,拎當年同齡既美斯比都超佢幾班,今屆佢係巴塞表現似一個平庸球員多過新星
更唔好講咩超新星,突破能力又唔係強,又獨食,無假動作死沖,成日得位但又得得差
傳射唔覺特別勁,除左速度唔差外
最重要呢年完全無進步,又驕傲自滿,又唔抬高頭踢波
雖然年輕,但睇唔出有咩作為
