Well.. cos... depends on how lucky they will be.. everything is on draft.. and gambling.. like Mark Six in HK...

by the way, from NBA rules, any new team.. who is/are joining to play in NBA, they couldn't get 1st in first 3 yrs.

he start his rookie season at 98-99 season ... so i take a look at 97-98 season standing ( i think that the one i need to check to c the standing for draft pick ... ) and LAC didnt have the worst record that year ... Denver did

it is the draft of Stromile Swift / Bibby which we were forced to give up the draft right
as far as I remember:
95' we are 6th and we picked Big Country instead of Mighty Mouse (Garnett was the fifth...)
96' we are 3rd and we picked Shareef where Marbury, Ray, Kobe, Walker are all avaliable
97' we are 4th and we picked Antonio Daniels who is not even playing in NCAA Division I and there is T-Mac
98' we are 2nd and we picked M.Bibbly instead of V. Carter
99' we are 2nd again and we picked Franchise, but well...he refuse to play for us
00' we are 2nd again and we picked S. Swift...
01' we moved to Memphis ...thx Stu
see how many ALL-STAR we have missed even we can pick high...
