i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law., F$ s8 J2 v2 \. |# t9 w
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity.& S+ k3 A! e8 _* b8 \7 s

Since the water on the earth will be attracted by gravitational force, it will fell on the ground.0 i3 Q2 o: U3 I8 M

But in the space, no force is added on the water will u X the ball ,so the water will remain its old velocity(don't move)
