i believe that can be easily explained by newton first law.
When no net force act on a object, the object will travel with constant velocity.6 k8 \9 P! [# y& [' k: C9 H4 j7 T0 B

But in the space, no force is added on the water will u X the ball ,so the water will remain its old velocity(don't move)
