I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.9 Q4 X/ q% l# Y7 L- I. R& t

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.: r' u% k: H  I* K& {

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.6 @0 G1 F! c9 V$ p

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think.
