Do you think Chinese medicine is better than Western?

it is beacuse Chinese medicine normally is balancing the human body to achieve recover rather like Western to tackle / breakdown the virus to health' G# n J; g/ T

Hard to compare la. Chinese medicine is more preventive while western medicine is only useful if something is wrong.

but there is nothing better or worse as such.

Some physical ailments need operative procedure, and unfortunately Chinese medicine can't do it. Even patients in the Mainland uses surgeries to get well.) K( e" c) C+ Q

But for minor sickness and preventive medicine, Chinese Medicine has its own worth.

Your question is a bit too general, if you need a specific instruction I would suggest seeing a doctor (Chinese or Western) la.

i can't tell which one is better ....but there is one thing i think it is very amazing from the chinese Dr....becoz they can just touching your hand that they can know what is going on in your body.......that is very cool......but i believe in chinese more than western....

邊樣好d都係睇情況。

我覺得西藥重速效，有d病食西藥好快d，
但係食西藥可能有副作用，飲咳水食感冒藥都可能覺得眼訓。6 _) J5 B% h; Z( h& X: X

中藥包括醫病，治標治本，平時服用都可以調養身體。 s1 b) J( M- l7 |7 m' |7 z7 Y8 y
西藥好似只係針對醫病，保健方面西醫平時就叫人有均衡飲食、做多d運動、注意生活規律。。。

Chinese medicine had been empirical all along. But scientific work has been going on around the world. I personally know a professor in Canada who is planning to work on 冬蟲草

d西藥年中都唔知食死幾多人.....又話有咩副作用...

我會睇完西醫醫好之後睇中醫調理身子~9 |& o# D2 W1 k E# m% R+ x
一時時自己覺得濕重, 熱氣都會去睇中醫!!!

我自己有感冒, 阿媽一定捉我去睇中醫...
不過又好有效就是了(苦茶難入口是中藥的另一大問題..); d' M: {" R# `3 Q- q* o

西方醫術對急病非常有效 (e.g. Trauma, Heart Attack, Stroke等)8 }4 U9 b @$ K; w, T
中醫就對身體的小毛病或長期病較有效5 R u1 n7 X9 X& O5 s

西醫著重用外力消除毛病(e.g. 流鼻水就收鼻水)3 v2 }6 i' A" x5 S8 p6 o2 M
中醫就靠固本培元, 讓身體好起來, 自行把毛病趕走

不過要講清楚的是, 傷風感冒食藥係香港呢D咁忙0既地方至會用(得閒死唔得閒病)
外國的醫生多是叫你多喝水, 多休息, 多給你幾天病假讓你好好休養) ?5 `! W3 y9 y. ?7 {2 W/ G0 t

有人如此形容中藥和西藥間的不同：中藥是隨身量做
的衣服，西藥則是大量訂做的製服。也就是說，中藥是針4 S. g$ T. m) T/ n, D
對各種不同病症及病患的不同體質來給藥，而西藥則只是
針對病症來給藥。因而，中藥對人體的副作用大都小於西7 f @7 Y8 k: D5 n
藥對人體的副作用。& S2 V5 Q) J* s5 J- P

中藥和西藥的另一不同在於：中藥在以提高病患的扺
抗力，讓其自行殺滅病菌；而西藥則是以殺死病菌為己任。
因而，中藥雖藥性緩慢卻有治本的功效；西藥則是藥性快
速，卻只能治標。
