BBC記者瓊斯報道︰

英國倫敦國家美術館宣布，他們發現了意大利文藝復興時代名藝術家達芬奇一幅前所未見的繪畫作品。文物專家使用精密的X射線技術在達芬奇名畫《岩間聖母》的下面發現了這位大師的另一幅作品。
1483年，達芬奇答應繪制一幅名叫《岩間聖母》的作品，用來裝飾米蘭的一座教堂。
他當時繪制了兩個版本，其中目前保存在法國盧浮宮的一幅據信當時賣給了一位私人收藏家。
另一幅，也就是目前保存在倫敦國家美術館的這一幅，曾在1508年在米蘭的一個教堂里裝飾祭台。

科學家現在發現，《岩間聖母》這幅畫的油彩下面還有一幅畫，顯示一個跪在地上的婦女。

畫中這個婦女目光低垂，一只手伸向畫面的邊緣。
專家們認為，達芬奇當時可能在設計一幅朝拜孩提耶穌的作品，但是後來改變主意，決定把耶穌描繪成一個嬰兒。但是，達芬奇為什麼要在這幅畫稿的上面作畫，可能是一個永遠都無法解開的迷。

the picture itself looks scary already....

the background is so dark....

the reason is back in the days the painter don't have that much $$ to get more cavas ..... so they like to reuse it ..... and the painting is cost so much becoz the painter is dead ..... so when the painter is alive the painting is nothing but once they dead ....... wow the price of the painting when up to the sky .....
