i want to know how to change VCD movie format ( *.dat ) into *.mpg/wmv format ??

It seems that DAT format is already a mpg format. What you need to do is to change the .dat into .mpg

after changing the name , it is still in DAT format !!

Not quite understand your problem but i try my best.

DAT is actually played by MPG format so i suppose you can change the dat into mpg. did you change to show the hidden file name?

an alternative is you need not change the dat and just use window media player to play that file

i am not trying to play it , what i want to do is that i need to modify the movie, but the program doesn`t support DAT files !!

EO Video 比較慢一點 , 我比較喜歡 TMPGenc
轉完應該ok 的
之前有d VCD file VCDCutter 問唔到, 用 EO Video/TMPGenc convert 完就開到了

movie1.dat ----> change the name into -----> movie1.mpeg

if u need to change other format , u better use TMPGenc
