Djurgardens star Tobias Hysen has revealed that he would jump at the opportunity to join European champions Liverpool.
The 23-year-old has been linked with numerous clubs, although the winger is not interested in a move to Belgian side Standard Liege.
The Sweden youngster has been in impressive form for the Stockholmers this season, netting nine goals along with setting up another eight.
"Only if Liverpool get in touch will I have the desire to leave Djurgardens," he told Sportbladet."
"I will not actively seek work abroad. When Standard Liege got in touch, Djurgardens rejected the offer and I would have done the same."
Djurgardens are ready to offer Hysen a contract extension with his current deal due to expire in 2007.
"We will start filter-004ing with Tobias shortly," confirmed club director Bo Andersson. |
