everyone blames it's the club's problem, less resources for wenger to buy/keep player..
but i personally think it's the lack of ability of the manager to handle these kinds of problems.
No offense, I think Wenger is not a top class manager. He could make good signing yet he couldnt keep them long in the club.
People often say it's the club who asks for cash which leads to the selling of the top/potential players, i dont think this' the case.
Remember, the word "manager". The person in between the owners and players. He has the right to make decision according to himself. You may say the board of directors would have more power in making decision. Yes I agree, but usually board of directors have more power on finance issues rather than the relationship between staffs and players. They might say the need to tighten the budget for the season a bit, but it is all depends on Wenger to sell which player. And most importantly, there are lot's of department in the team that cost a lot of money/daily expenses. Selling players is not the only method to get money. And the job of a good "manager" is to handle all the aspects well under his management, he has assistant and other employees under him to share his work.
To conclude, I admit that Wenger is a good manager, but in order to make Arsenal one of the best club in the world, maybe they could find someone else to manage the team. A club should seek for improvement, I cant really see how far can Wenger bring Arsenal to.
