Former Atlanta Hawks swingman Josh Childress is leaving the NBA for Europe.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on its Web site that Childress, a restricted free agent, has signed a three-year contract with Olympiakos of Greece.

Yahoo.com reported on Monday that Childress, who averaged 11.8 points and 4.9 rebounds last season, had an offer on the table from Olympiakos for more than $20 million over three years. But Hawks general manager Rick Sund told the AJC on Monday that the four-year pro was just exploring his options.

The newspaper reported Monday the Hawks had a deal on the table worth nearly $36 million, with a first-year salary in excess of the mid-level exception of $5.6 million.

While the Hawks could match any offer from another NBA team for Childress, they do not have the ability to match an offer from a European team.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution的記者Sekou Smith表示，Childress的離開是老鷹的一大損失，根據NBA薪資條例，老鷹是不能比照Olympiakos的開價留人的，因為 Olympiakos並非NBA球隊，不過日後Childress想要回NBA，他仍屬老鷹的「受限」自由球員，老鷹可以保留他的續約權至少兩年。

Nets' free agent Nenad Krstic has accepted a two-year, $9 million offer to play for Triumph Moscow this season, according to ESPN.

Krstic is the seventh player to leave the NBA this summer, joining Bostjan Nachbar, Juan Carlos Navarro, Jorge Garbajosa, Carlos Delfino, Primoz Brezec and Josh Childress.

都唔知依d人點解可以換倒artest, 好似brown換gasol咁 (唔通真係咁麻煩? )
雖然換入artest係將防守力推向另一個層次, 但artest係一個好少打倒成季o既球員

上場對列支第4節一個大力入樽睇到我嗌左出黎
再上場對唔知邊隊(加拿大?), 一個大風車過完一個守衛, 再避開另一個入樽, 冇反應, 但睇到我呆左

keep倒依個狀態8-9成, 都有得爭常規賽mvp喇
順帶一提, deron williams o既進攻都進步左

58m都算幾多, 但相比起kobe, james去歐洲一年就有50m, 就真係...

Jason Hart梗係唔掂
除左ft okay之外, 冇樣stat強, 而且30歲人, 應該都要等baron同jason都傷左佢先有機會出 (o係utah剩係排deron williams之後都出得少)

至於ricky就打後備好d, 因為佢打倒s/f位
佢打正選o既話, bench就有太多guard

我就會放e.gordon做正選, 佢d ft絕對可以同maggette相比
而且用ricky backup s/f位同加強bench scoring會仲好

well... maybe i should say it in another angle...

for bowen and battier, it is true that they have great contribution to the team due to their defense ability
they may not have outstanding stats or scoring, but as they can guard G and F, they are given consistent minutes

however, when it comes to jason hart, it is a PG, will you use him for defensive only?
i have had a look on his previous stat, he had a very poor fg (35-40%)
even play against poor defensive team like SEA (last year), MIA or DEN, he did not do well on scoring and assisting

maybe you would say he did not have enough playing time
now let's look at games that he played for about 20mins or above
4pts 1reb 2ast in 20mins (defensive stats with about 1 steal)
i think it did show something that his offensive and defensive skills are in a doubt
(not to mention that he is a very inconsistent player)

that line-up is just my imagination...haha...their half court offense is kind of crap...i assume they will play fast  ...

e.gordon is a SG instead of PG, so he should not be compared with kidd or BD

Gordon fits the bill perfectly as a relentless shooting guard who can put it on you in a variety of ways. He can drive, he can shoot, he can move without the ball.

Stats taken from players' college averages

Through two Summer League games, Gordon is averaging 19 points (on 9-of-28 shooting), two 3-pointers, 5.5 rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and attempted 21 free throws in 58 minutes.

As a SG, I think he did it quite well, and his poor fg is mainly due to his hamstring injury.

P.S. although thornton is not a 3pt scorer, his 3pt shooting is not that bad
