David Beckham is coming home this winter.

But the former England captain will NOT be playing for a Premier League club on loan from LA Galaxy.

He is looking for somewhere to train, and talks have already taken place with Arsenal.

The Gunners are understood to have offered Beckham the use of their hi-tech training facilities at London Colney and would allow the midfielder to train with the firstteam squad.

The arrangement would suit the Beckham family because their Hertfordshire home is not far away.

More recently it has been claimed that Beckham was considering a loan move with a view to playing in the Premier League for the first time since he quit Manchester United to join Real Madrid in 2003.

But under the terms of his contract there are no provisions that allow him to join another club on loan and both Beckham and the club have consistently rubbished such claims.

The one potential stumbling block though is Beckham's commercial activity, which formed part of his immense MLS contract at LA Galaxy.

The club's and Beckham's individual sponsors adidas, who subsidise his reported £127 million earnings, want him to promote the brand outside of the campaign.
