I am glad to see the all-star reserves....coz it seems the NBA has finally passed down the torch to the new generations...

Webber will be the saddest one...at his prime, he has to live under the shadow of KG and TD and he didnt get a ring just becoz of the team injuries in two consecutive years...well...that's life...

I was shocked that they left out Franchise, if the East want a running team, Franchise should be in definitely.  If they need 3 pts, Redd should be in instead.  With Shaq starts, I don't see any necessity of picking Big Z.  He will just end up on the bench if they are for real, so the east are bascially a mess of position.

Many of you think that the West are in big trouble becoz they only have Nash playing at the pt.  but that's just not true.  Look at the west, only the Suns are playing the uptempo basketball which is more like the Eastern style. For the rest of the top western teams, they are playing the inside-out where the offense begins with their big man and pg is not a big part.  (The prime SAC and the Shaq-Kobe Lakers are a good example)

This is why the West does not need a true pg but instead loading with all the long range shooters at the perimeter...

Personally, the chances for the east are real small.  Big Ben is not able to D up the super stars.  Look at last year All-star, he just got push around by Yao and Shaq cannot power in with 3 7 footers in the paint.

The only thing can happen for the East would be in the 4th quarter the west's shot accidently cannot get in.  The first 3 quarters are basically meaningless becoz the west will let the east gets back into the game once they are leading for 20 pts or something.
