I guess he mean once you understand, you don't need to remember what the book said anymore, it will come to you when you need to use it

If I have a school, I will force all the student to study at least one class in economic....& i2 N& ^! H$ m
It's useful in every life situration, like buying house, saving money, making decision (even not money related).
