Whoever the opponent is, it's HK footfall team's fault for losing any single game. The team players're representing HK, they'd do their best to get the best result for HK, including victory. There's no difference between losing 1 goal or 7 goals, loser's loser -- the football players should deeply evaluate how to improve their tactics, strategies as well as skills.
Besides, I don't see any reason why should HK lose to the Mainland? HK's part of China, but it doesn't mean that HK's Mainlanders' colony -- it's absolutely different thing. Why should we please the Mainlanders by sacrificing our self-respect? Besides, when do the Mainlanders respect us? We're Hongkongese, we're Chinese, but we're not Mainlanders' subjects!!!
Now, China's been paid for forcing HK to play fake football -- failing to enter the 2nd round. Once again, we're reminded that don't to expect/assume the global world always favour us...
