**如果香港以前係亞洲足球王國 咁點解未衝出過亞洲 踢世界杯?
香港足球以前係勁(比起而家) 但係未至於王國 唔好咁誇
而且香港足球未落 係殖民統治時代已經開始 所以同統殖唔殖民根本無關**

** Before 1950:--

1) Many country don't want to join the World Cup (World Cup was founded by Frenchman, so England, Scoutland, etc. did not want to join or play, they only joined after the World War II)
2) All the best HK players are not playing in HK Regional Team, they played for Republic of China Team (which is the Taiwan govt. team after 1949)
3) Travel of that time needed much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
4) Asia Team only has the first seat in World Cup at 1958. (In fact Asia has 40+ countries and just only has one seat at World Cup until 1982)

** Also political was another thing that block the team joining world cup. Like is 1966, NONE of HK or China or Chinese Taiwan has apply for the qualify of World Cup. And many Asia Team withdraw from the qualify round because of politics. So, only Austrila & North Korea played in the Asia qualify round.

But because of politic & war, etc., there was no 100% or even 80% fair tournament at that time to test if HK team was really the best in Asia at 1950's.

** BTW, we are only filter-004ing about if 李惠堂 or 李惠堂 years (1930~1950), HK football is good in Asia not 1970!!

(although 1970 HK football may not the best in Asia, at least it was not amount the worst.

Like Japan, their football only become good after having the J-league in 1990
