MJ dominated his era.
Kobe dominate his defenders.

MJ held people in awe. He's a predator on the court.
Players are scared of Kobe because he has a history of ratting people out.

MJ plays good D.
Kobe plays good D when the camera's on him.

MJ plays hurt.
Kobe sits out until the All-star game.

MJ kept winning until he got old.
Kobe has won 3, but somehow he can't do it anymore... when his tabloids grew old.

As for shoes... there's Jordan XX, and still going....
Kobe has.... 3? and I don't think there's one anytime soon
