i think it is becuz all the dream one players r team players...unlike the selfish players we have now..look at dream one...how many players had won defensive player of the year and actually willling 2 play defence...now look at the players we have on the dream team roster now...who actually plays defence?? talk about offence...all they wanna do is jack up shots and play 1 on 1..i don't c any strategies...european teams r "godly" i should say in playing zone defence...if the dream team now doesn't get use 2 the style of a  passing game....they will NEVER beat zone defence..the whole dream team just doesn't have any chemistry between players...lin the past dream teams...the coach is trying 2 put all the all-star type of players on the roster even if they have the same style and play for the same position, it might look good and entertaining...but that just doesn't work...they ( as well as their nba team staff) were afraid of getting injuries..in my opinon they should put some more blue-colla players that r willing 2 do all the dirty works(rebounds, fight for lose balls, taking charges ect)...and r passionate (becuz if they play good...they might get a better contract and being noticed)

therefore...they don't play team defence + they don't play team offence = elimination!!
