Blazers can be a surprising team this year.....

Yes, I see the changes and I like this team. Blake, the "pass first" point guard. Rookie of the year, Roy, the go-to guy, Aldridge, and I like Webster and Outlaw but there is a difference between a suprise and a solid team. They got a lot of young talent and with an average age of 23.2, I really doubt they can jump from 12 seed to the top 4 seed.

So, yes I agree. The Blazers are good and even without Oden, I think they will have improved off last year just not top 4 seed.

Wow, Jazz drop to 8th, Spurs drop to 5th and Nuggets got into 3rd?.....anyway, I like Houston too, they do look good this year. I like Luis Scola & Chuck Hayes and if Bonzi plays the way he did for Rick Adelman back in Sacramento. They can be the dark horse.

Well injury is another issue. It's hard to perdict the outcome if you want to assume injury will happen. What if every team got injured except Timberwolves. They can be the new champion.
