Giuseppe Rossi scored another priceless goal for Parma - his seventh in 14 appearances - as Claudio Ranieri's side notched an impressive 4-3 win at high-flying Palermo. The result puts Parma five points clear of the relegation zone.

Gerard Pique came within a whisker of a fifth goal for Real Zaragoza with a free kick against Celta Vigo, but his near-miss did not prove costly as Zaragoza won 2-0 to move into fourth spot in La Liga.

Lee Martin was a late substitute for Stoke City as the Potters' Championship playoff hopes were dented by a 1-1 home draw against Hull City.

Danny Rose was missing as Oxford notched a third straight victory, a 2-0 triumph over Stafford at the Kassam Stadium.

Man Utd's Park to visit US knee specialist

Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung has flown to meet American knee specialist Dr Richard Steadman for a diagnosis on the injury which has almost certainly ended his season.

The South Korean star has not featured for United since the home win over Blackburn on March 31.

Although Sir Alex Ferguson initially suggested Park would be back in action within a couple of weeks, the timescale proved inaccurate, with the 25-year-old struggling to take any part in training.

Reports have surfaced claiming Park could be out for a year. These were denied by chief executive David Gill at a news conference in Seoul to publicise United's forthcoming Far East tour.

However, Gill admitted the exact length of Park's absence was not known and the player had remained in the United States for further tests.

Steadman has a history of successful knee operations.

Former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is among a host of players to have benefitted from Steadman's care and the surgeon also operated on Michael Owen when the England star ruptured his cruciate ligaments at the World Cup.

according to that article, Park will not able to play again in this season...and it is unknown for the returning date....the doctors do not know how long would Park sideline for.....

just wish no more injuries will plague with Man U anymore in the remaining season~~
