Rio has some bleeding in his foot..but probaly a very very minor one as he could finish the 90 mins game..so he should be alright to play against Gunners' at Old Trafford on this weekend~~

i'm really scared of Brown!!!! he can't really mark Adebayor very well~~and he's not fast enough to catch Hleb as well!!hope he will do a brilliant job on this weekend~~

BTW, i missed the whole match..could anyone please tell me how's Silverstre and Pique going? Had they both done a perfect job to play as a defender???

true true true...i remembered that incident...I agreed that those two red card were reasonable, especially the first one~~~
probably Fergie just stood out to protect his players, like same player sent off by same ref for twice in two seperate season...it's easily linked to that Ronaldo was treated unfairly by the same ref...

I didnt say i agree with Sir Alex...but that's what he had to do to speak out for his fellow players~~especially that's Ronaldo, the most valuable player in man utd since 2003~~

that's a good news for Man Utd and Hargreaves...looks like Fergie has finally found the best formation when Carrick and Hargreaves playing on field at the same time.

Previously, H4 was the last man of the midfielders, and Carrick was like a assistant forward, focusing on passing and some long shot..

In last match, after they swapped the position and the job over with each other, Hargreaves was like finally be unleashed, his really potential came out~~~~letting him run alot is the best option to him instead of staying at the midfield...i watched the highlights, JS Park and him were swapping alot on both flanks~~and H4 made a lot of cut in to Roma's restricted area~which carrick will not and probably cannot do ~~

and Carrick's job is turning to be a play maker, similiar to Andrea Pirlo's job~~creating loads of critical pass from its back court to Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez for fast break~~

Manchester United are set to announce the signing of four top stars to new contracts.
The Sun says United will spend a staggering £90million in wages to keep four of their stars.

The club are splashing the cash on mega salaries for Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and Michael Carrick as the quartet tie up lucrative new deals.

Brown and Carrick have followed Ferdinand by agreeing contracts - which means in the last week United have committed themselves to £52m in wages.

And Portuguese genius Ronaldo, 23, is ready to seal a five-year, £150,000-a-week deal in the summer, taking the total figure to £90m.


haha...Looks like Brown's agent fail to fight for a better deal for his client~~
and Brown will settle with the contract extention offered by Man Utd~

it's good news..Man Utd doesnt need to spend extra money to sign another RB this year...probably they would give more chances to H4, F24, and Simpson to play at RB~~

but it could be very expensive to sign Lahm..as Hargeaves required 18M..he's only a sub in Bayern...It would definitely cost more than that to persuade Lahm to leave Bayern.

maybe they will get it this time after Euro 08..coz recently, manutd would definitely give you surprise in signing players...like Larsson, Andersen...for those like Hutton, Berbatov and Bale are only rumours...maybe your wish will come true this time...haha

not only Hutton, like Kakeidevil said, they missed out on Gareth Bale as well~~
