I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

3 l* |0 ?" i, V& }' P1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

# q0 B3 H4 O& f' g# l2 aWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.; N5 B0 i0 R: E1 {+ j0 b# G( T/ Y
3 V6 }, G2 M2 F& T+ _: iThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
