I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

. r n& M# f+ J- u1 q3 t1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.& s/ E- T) e, J4 R0 m4 s2 ]

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.& e0 }* m( ?5 [% Y
! C: K. s3 ?; G$ M8 H6 BThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
