I had patients telling me the same thing. Some people are very sensitive to anesthesia (local or general) and their conscious self will completely shut down until the drug goes away (from a few hours to a few days). And when the conscious self rests, the subscious self takes over and we recall so many things we never 'knew' (which is not true cuz we picked up the info long time ago). Some people have stronger 'memory' power than others and that's why we all have peers study better and faster than ourselves (they remember and pick up things faster w/out reciting).

Why is that? No one knows for sure.

By the way, an extra note on anesthesia....my patients kept asking me whether they will be dumber after going through it....that's totally untrue.

腦海入面有D印象...可能係發夢果時夢過...然後...隔左一段時候後真係發生左,可能係一年後應驗,亦都可能係幾個月...
憑住呢種感覺,就算有困難都好...有時好似會知道下一步應該點行,會有咩後果,然後小心處理

所以而家就算訓醒左我都唔會刻意去想自己夢過D咩,寧願等第日要用果時擰出黎用
