for the preliminary interview:5 S$ A+ N7 U* L5 j3 W

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:0 Y5 m, L6 \$ w7 W

% h& g# h7 x4 \, Tit's divided into 2 sections,% P7 l7 k+ Q* ^+ p
1 is impromptu talk2 Z9 p2 Z& x" a; L0 V
another is group discusion( I! F6 c$ b, p9 G9 y2 }6 h  J

" n6 @* F7 R+ U( V8 k& vall conducted in english: q1 Z& F/ M; B! i7 y$ g5 @5 e

! u) Y3 W' n8 k+ I: G; dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."1 ?4 j, c# B5 \' e; }& x$ e+ O

* `' e  ~2 D. b& u% m& T1 J- {group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion7 P; N* T  n7 e7 A: o

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!( c! [# I0 |4 n/ k8 z3 |" Y& r7 T
