for the preliminary interview:

) T4 c! j" R2 S$ K3 B% G8 c6 ^there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

. S2 U$ |. y* K; xit's divided into 2 sections,
" I* c* K8 @/ m: w7 S% J9 i8 v% E1 is impromptu talk6 M* N: z  L+ k
another is group discusion
% l3 S/ O7 S5 R( A9 U# Y$ [' W2 M' e% H9 R9 S
all conducted in english

$ L6 }, M  O! ], G% p. oimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."0 k* y) E! I: n7 k5 z, y& s. H

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion0 F! S% U2 }5 L

* H3 F- p- c' V+ r+ Z+ _+ g7 x. Y6 @* r9 V& `
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

" \. }6 X# a5 i) p0 cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
