其實有時認為政府就業問題呢方面如果做得好d既話,,

+ x: s U/ A0 Z4 x; y. Y3 U失業率無咁高既話,自然香港人既消費意慾會上升' @/ I9 g% z& R! H1 Y- _
但係失業呢個問題又要關注到 薪金方面,$ C8 e& T) i) }* W# G$ O
因為以小弟所認識,,大部份飲食業都係缺少人手,% U5 J7 N" c6 x U, g1 g( q6 c: t

Yesterday, I watched the HK news online....
/ E) i; F3 U/ r. L: b7 kIt says around 400 thousands people in HK earn less than 30 HKdollars per hour.

I believe the actual labour problem would be much worse than this since there is a number of people who are working part time with even lower wages, and a number of people who are unemployed at all.

5 F7 _' x' y" c. J0 ], aWhen I heard the news, the first thing I had in mind was "30 HK dollars is like $4 Canadian dollars......"

Our minimum wage for a full time employee for our province is $9.5 Canadian dollars per hour(probably around 71 HK dollars). So as long as you are full time employed, the employer will needs to pay you $9.5 per hour (even you are just working in McDonalds).

6 j+ j$ R' E+ A9 G* V8 K- `& |My conclusion is, if HK government doesn't set up a rule for the minimum wage, the basic salary would only get lower and lower because the employers would only push it as low as it can be.

$ K. }' A" A, N4 ]* n( @* `9 OLittle bit of my own experience, when I first graduated a few years ago (before the economic crisis), my parents and relatives always ask me to go back to HK to find a job.

I personally don't like Canada that much.....but the condition in HK is just 10 times worse than Canada.....2 v3 T- {$ p) Y0 m. B' f: H8 P

Honestly even right now, it would be easier for a person to find a job and get better pay in Canada or even US than in HK. |
