if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster....
% Y/ t& K3 Y- M" u- |  J% B9 r* h8 }8 N; x5 p  p* t
usually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....: m  J- J' `3 J, q# o* W9 t
York Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....

try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....8 R4 L  U2 X+ }, e" B  m5 m+ b! t

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....
; r8 E9 {- v: YI use the same way as you to get to York too
