The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me& [( G. ?- h% g( _
Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
9 W8 ~4 H! f r: QI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese( x& O7 P7 I0 n
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

1 Q: _6 ` M: H; v9 P: ZFirst of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low" v4 q7 l8 c$ H0 z9 Y
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
6 c. y& k) h) Z! M& F4 zMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
6 o+ M+ T; q0 x! h* l' L2 xBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable9 V: R/ \& P1 M$ U4 t! c
Secondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living: b; s) P: i0 h; o! ^4 y1 W
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel1 y( o* V$ [8 G, y
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,0 }- [# }5 ]% f4 m
People are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.
; ?( d9 \" V+ H$ A7 AMy ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue# [ r. n9 s6 O. g& e9 l
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.& \# {) {, R q M0 V
