其實佛教說49日內已投胎。  不過當然未必可以投胎做番人，殺生咁大罪如果可以做得番人，他前生一定要好有福又或如女子被人強暴，為保貞節而自殺的人等才可。  否則多數墮落惡道。  所以有時有人見到d自殺鬼會不停重複死之前的行為，其實他們已墮為餓鬼，會不停重複跳樓。  

鬼之命好長，隨時幾千萬年命，有d死後投入人身(仍有餘褔未盡者)會因為佢地前世有自殺行為。 呢個習氣會影響佢今世再自殺。  生生死死直至無褔世自殺死後，因為自殺的罪而墮入地獄一濟同佢算清。

其實如果自殺死後仍有餘褔未盡者，佢地應該慶幸而即極修行、懺悔修褔。  這樣仍有機會改變死後墮入地獄之報。

In Christainity, suicide is not allowed, but there's doubt of whether that person will go to heaven or hell. There's not bible scripture pointing that suicide will lead to hell, but neither is any verse saying they can go to heaven. The only thing sure to say is that in the end of the world, (Judgement Day) Jesus, as God's son, will judge everyone on their faith and decide whether they go to heaven or hell. In my opinion, people who suicide will be most likely end up in hell, but I can't say for sure.

我不用宗教角度去討論，因為已有很多「勁人」解答.........

用一個「社工專業」角度分析：
人已死，既成「事實」........
死者家人、你、同學、老師.......亦應學習「面對」........
例如：你、死者的家人嘗試找社工傾訴，慢慢接受這個事實，
           亦應該相信死者已到了一個「快樂的世界」生活，
           而不是再去擔心死者死後會有「受苦」之痛...........

以上只是個人意見，請各位見諒！
