I think that's not a penalty if I watched from TV.

of cos, from TV view, we are sure that's no foul at all,
But if you look at the view of referee, that's difference, cos he'd run 90 degree opposite than TV, and he'd run on the ground level.
Linesmen couldn't help in this situation, cos he was standing on the same side as referee.
That's why he admitted he was wrong ... (from soccernet) as he viewed that incident with different angles.

Sometimes that's life... I think the TV technology is good .. but the only one question in my mind is, will the game get a lot of delays when all the players are complaining some decision?

若果錄象唔係最高權力, 而只係一個球証既一個工具,
會唔會將delay球場既情況減到最低呢?

從來我唔怪球証會睇錯, 因為不竟係人...
連醫學報告都話, 球証無可能判斷到offside既,

似乎國際足協視若無睹...哈哈

Not exactly straight line... but Rob Styles was running really close to straight line, and that's what I want to point out!!!

cos when I watched at highlight show, the first thing I was looking the position of referee and linesman!

Few weeks ago, I was watching the church soccer game. The referee gave a free kick outside the penalty spot. I was standing left side (outside) of the field, I didn't agree his decision. But when I saw he was running 'on the straight line' .... about 50 yards away for that incident, I understood why he made that decision.

The referee did the 'right' things, and it'd in counter attack, the referee was running as quick as possible in that stage.. (but still 50 yards away....
)

I didn't see that match, but I can tell you if he'd be scary about making decision, it'd be normal.
Any soccer players, or fans, may never know how much pressure for the referee is until he/she becomes referees one day.  

That's what I see about many players try to become referees in my church league this year. Players (referee) thought it'd be easy, so they never goto study the training course. Then at the end, they become crept on the field
