(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)繼高價簽入卡域克後，曼聯的中場增兵行動尚未結束，有傳曼聯將於卡域克加盟後，再購入篤定離開祖雲達斯的韋拉，就連韋拉本人亦沒有否認會過檔這支昔日死敵，但祖雲達斯亦證實與國際米蘭快達成出售韋拉的協議。究竟紅魔還是國米，韋拉的去向預計會在四十八小時內有答案。

　　曼聯是今夏爭取收購韋拉的眾多球會之一，不過韋拉昔日在阿仙奴與曼聯眾將交惡，令紅魔在「韋拉爭奪戰」中一直處於劣勢。不過，當韋拉的「最大仇人」雲尼斯達萊離開曼聯後，事情卻出現轉機。韋拉親口證實，有可能加盟這支自己曾經最討厭的球隊：「任何球員都希望效力曼聯，雖然我曾在阿仙奴長達九年，但在足球世界，任何事情都有可能發生。」韋拉轉口風顯示這宗令人意想不到的交易，可能會變成事實。

Villarreal's Brazilian-born Spanish international midfielder Marcos Senna claims United are in negotiations to bring him to Old Trafford.
The 30-year-old, who was part of Spain's 2006 World Cup squad, has been linked with a move to United as the Reds look to compliment the signing of playmaking midfielder Michael Carrick with a more defensive, tackling central player.

Senna played in both Champions League matches against United in 2005/06. He has stated that would be happy to stay at El Madrigal, but simply wants to resolve his future either way.

"I know they are negotiating a transfer and I hope they sort things out as soon as possible, so I know what my future will be," he said. "To be honest, Villarreal opened their doors for me and I am very happy here.

"The club have signed some good new players and I have always said my ambition is to win a title with this club. This season would be a great chance to do that. But we will see."

The Reds had been linked with an audacious move for former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira. However, the 30-year-old Frenchman completed a move from Juventus to Inter Milan on Tuesday night.

He had expressed an interest in joining United as he looked for an escape route from the Turin club after they were demoted to Serie B following their part in Italian football's match-fixing scandal.
