Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.. E5 P' w* ]! u9 [; i& M6 {& Y Q4 W

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
: x- m" }6 ^* Pa) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
# x# t0 T& n3 {& x# rb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.4 _9 C! D0 h, y1 ? U# k7 T, Y9 W
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Just another thought on lonliness:
4 j, e' r8 T1 m5 b' N1 e/ MLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
