Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:, F9 q( n' W' v' q
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
; F# u4 a; p J" fb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.) L) Y) S# l. _8 U# [
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

8 w: C1 u5 \" k9 _$ eLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
