Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.; ]) o( N: \' ^# @, s( m3 m9 F

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:6 L1 O" z6 F$ W: w! F8 p
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
1 ~3 B, z W4 J" X gb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
4 `( S7 `# w6 Q/ sc) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.* N5 X, o" r2 `# d9 Q
# ~& |8 I' p7 o8 _0 jJust another thought on lonliness:
2 o) L* ?7 `. pLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
