Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.. x! e, d& a3 a' T0 p; C
# } r/ S6 v/ L9 ^2 IPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
9 o, A7 O9 ] R4 ha) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
2 K0 z( S# z/ V( @8 B+ I+ ?0 Yb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
2 t4 A5 D: a0 k" Rc) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Just another thought on lonliness:* V b4 G3 I7 d, r5 C7 X
Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
