Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.5 s: Z4 Y. U2 q3 |5 I" `

People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:# W; B5 z& u1 {6 l
a) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long
# y8 V# Q3 B& _# fb) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.
, {- `+ P L5 N8 Dc) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

5 _3 \ Y' E7 }7 oJust another thought on lonliness:
; t( Z+ }6 j: h0 t! d. oLonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
