People feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
% s# Z N/ y5 q! Aa) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long) F) W5 ?$ P6 k- c% T, d
b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.% s& o d, G0 P- o5 S4 r
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.2 a" X* X z5 Y, v* z: H& M, Z0 C* B
! J7 W3 r( r& B D7 A8 uJust another thought on lonliness:& q- s6 q$ a% _( t% L# ^, l+ j E1 n. b v
Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
