Solitude is part of life....we long for company....but secretly we crave for that rare moment of quiteness on our own.

0 G- Z* e7 u9 h* TPeople feel 'empty' or 'depressed' after a great outing because:
7 H* E9 J5 c3 s; \+ ja) they know this 'feeling' of contentment can not last long* x5 \+ o* r6 `. [. N/ d
b) they hate to be alone, so they loiter with people...but it's in large group they 'discover' they want to be alone.5 ~$ Z5 M/ t9 s. V- t; A
c) the contrast is too great between togetherness and lonliess.

Lonliness is not the feeling at your first day of school/work/new life in another country. It's normal to be alone in those circumstances. Loliness is the realization that you're indeed alone after spending years w/ your friends, co-workers, peers, and family members. That's sad. |
